01Who we are

RK Tiffin Center is an owner-run home kitchen at House No. T3, 2nd Floor, Gitanjali Chauraha, Ambedkar Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462003. It is run by Mrs. Vaishnavi. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means RK Tiffin Center. "You" means anyone who visits rktiffin.online or orders a tiffin from us.

02What information we collect

We keep this to the minimum needed to run a daily tiffin service:

• Contact details: your name and mobile number.
• Delivery details: full address, a nearby landmark and your drop point (PG gate, hostel, flat or office).
• Plan details: start date, pause dates and meal preferences you tell us, like less spice or a vegetable you avoid.
• Payment records: the amount, date and a transaction reference for your monthly payment. We don't ask for or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank passwords.
• Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by phone about your order, feedback or complaints.

If a parent or employer books a tiffin for someone else, we also keep the booking person's name and number.

03How we collect it

You give us these details yourself when you call, send a WhatsApp message or email us. This website does not have any sign-up, login, order form or payment page, so nothing is collected through forms on the site.

04How we use your information

• To cook and deliver your lunch and dinner to the right place at the right time.
• To call or message you about your delivery, a delay, or a change in your slot.
• To share useful updates like a menu change for the season or a holiday closure.
• To keep track of your plan, payments, pauses and restarts.
• To handle feedback and complaints and improve the food.

We don't send promotional messages to people who haven't ordered from us, and you can ask us to stop non-essential updates at any time.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

• Our delivery team sees your name, phone number and address so they can deliver your tiffin.
• Legal requirements: we may share information if the law, a court or a government authority requires it.

When you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy policy.

06Our website, cookies and third-party services

Our website itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. A few outside services load on some pages:

• Google Fonts for the text style on every page.
• Google Maps, embedded on the Contact Us page to show our kitchen location.
• WhatsApp links, which open WhatsApp when you tap them.

These services may collect basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type under their own policies. Like most websites, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, time) for security and to keep the site running.

07How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are our customer, and for a reasonable time after that for accounts and in case you come back. If you ask us to delete your information and there is no pending payment or legal reason to keep it, we will delete it.

08How we keep it safe

Your details stay on the owner's phone and records, and only people who need them for delivery can see them. We take reasonable care to protect your information, but no method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

09Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or update it.
• Ask us to delete it, subject to any legal need to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent for non-essential messages.
• Raise a complaint with us about how your data is handled.

Just call, WhatsApp or email us. We try to respond within a few days.

10Children

Our service is meant to be booked by adults. If a student under 18 needs a tiffin, a parent or guardian should book it and share the details.

12Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. For important changes, we will also let our current customers know on WhatsApp.
